DEAR NEW FARM:

I am a consumer of only organic food and do not even eat meat, but I am very concerned about the NAIS (National Animal Identification System). Also, I hear congressman [Colin] Peterson [D-Minn.] is in favor of combining COOL (Country of Origin Labeling) with NAIS, and this should be prevented. COOL is useful, but NAIS will leave us with corporate agribusiness non-food only. Please tell me what your group is doing about this.
