Do you have an organic program for African farmers? Please advise. I live in Ghana.

DEAR KOFI:

The Rodale Institute until recently did have a program on the ground in Senegal for African farmers. This program used to host training sessions for African farmers, but was put on hold for strategic review. We hope to reestablish our Africa connection after we complete this process later this year.

In the meantime, you can try to apply the concept and principles of regenerative agriculture to your growing conditions in Ghana.

If you have access to the internet, you may participate in our online organic course which will be available for free on the New Farm website by the end of the year. It's geared toward transitioning US farmers, but should be interesting and informative for anyone interested in organic agriculture.
