We are deep into integrating the rich content streams
you've come to expect from NewFarm.org with our parent organization's
website at The Rodale Institute. When the designing and re-arranging
is done, we will present you with a dynamic new site that
will be more fun, easier to use and give you more of what
you need to farm well. While we're under contruction, we will
not be accepting new ads.

Ridge to Reef Beneficial Farming Program.
Located in the lush forests of St. Croix, USVI, this unique
training program is for aspiring steward-farmers interested
in creating productive agricultural systems while protecting
the health of downstream ecosystems. Each resident will learn
whole systems organic strategies that benefit people and their
living environment. Hands-on farm projects and interpretive
tours around the island will provide resident farmers experiential
learning opportunities. Resident farmers will also hike, swim,
and snorkel to an elevated understanding of systems connectivity.

are designed to serve as entry points and pathways at every

farmers in transitions even those who have been farming for
many years all benefit from courses offered in 2008. We are
also creating opportunities for consumers to enter into farm
life through cooking, gardening and farm visits. There is
